This song is dedicated to my children and was inspired by a little hike with my youngest son Matthew to the Vista on Round Mountain, NC.

On a mountaintop not too far away from here
The view, the vista it was an amazing thing to see
A sky crystal blue with nothing else left to do but feel the wind

It’s the nature of things it seems, it is by design I think
To know the pain of loss and to feel the joy of love regained.
